During a routine dental cleaning, one of our hygienists will use an ultrasonic scaler and hand scalers to remove plaque and tartar from your teeth. Your teeth are flossed and polished after all tartar and plaque is removed.

A crown or “cap” is a restoration made for teeth that are extensively decayed, have a root canal, have fractured, or have large fillings that have weakened the tooth structure. FAQs
How often should I see the dentist?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer as everyone’s dental needs are different. To maintain good oral health, you should see us twice a year. However, if you have any periodontal or dental issues, we will likely recommend you visit us more often.
What is your process when seeing a new patient?
Your initial visit at our office will include a comprehensive examination by one of our dentists, any necessary x-rays and a cleaning. A comprehensive treatment plan will be developed to address your dental needs.
Are you accepting new patients?
Yes! Please give us a call at (518) 274-7001 to schedule an appointment for a new patient exam.
Do you accept dental insurance?
Although we do not directly participate with dental insurance plans, as a courtesy, we file your insurance claim on the day of your appointment. Upon receiving payment from your insurance company, you will then be responsible for any balance left on your account. We are not responsible for what benefits your insurance company pays on a claim; the amount or percentage paid is determined by the contract you or your employer has set up with the insurance company. We will assist you as best we can in estimating your portion of the cost of treatment, but cannot guarantee how your insurance company will handle the claim. If you do not have dental insurance, payment in full is expected at time of service, unless other payment arrangements have been made.
